With 2023 Navy Week almost upon us we would like to take this opportunity, on behalf Sterling Base to invite all our Navy families (serving member, partners and families) to a celebratory Morning Tea here at Marilla Community Centre! Are you looking for a fun, child friendly and FREE fitness class? Well search no longer! Thanks to DCO funding we are able to offer this fantastic FREE FITNESS CLASS to all Marilla Members and Defence Families. Every Monday morning during school term time we will have an experienced PT running a mix of Metafit, Bootcamp but always fun fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels, come on down and achieve the fitness goals you have always strived for!  The classes are held outside but undercover so please dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and sweat towel. All classes are child friend

MyTime groups provide support for mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone caring for a child with a disability/chronic medical condition or developmental delay.  It’s a place for you to unwind and talk about your experiences. It’s a world away from appointments and therapy. It’s support for you. Because you're worth it! My Time are looking for new members, it is a FREE session to attend, feel free to pop down and Claire will be there to help you or you can emil us on marillacommunity@gmail.com for more informtion   Please share this information with anyone you believe will benefit from these sessions.  These sessions are for you to stay connected. Come down and a enjoy being guided though a gentle Yoga session with the Lovely Lotte and her little one! Theses session are aimed at all levels whether you are new to Yoga or have been practicing for some time. Please feel free to bring your little ones with you. They can take part as much or as little as they like. We have plenty of play equipment to keep them entertained if Yoga isn’t for them. What to bring? Water and if you have one a Yoga mat. Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times).  We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied. There will be a craft. free play, toys to encourage both fine and gross motor skills, story time and a shared morning tea.   Free tea and coffee for parents.  Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather. Gold coin donation required. This group is for Marilla members. You can attend the first session without joining Marilla, you can join online at www.marillacommunitycentre.com  Membership for 12 months is only $20 (Non-Defence) or only $10 for Defence families. Plus a FREE welcome glass of Prosecco    All materials will be provided on the night, the bar and kitchen at The Navy Club will be open for you to order food/drink. The workshop is an adult event but feel free to bring children long. Although please remember that children remain your responsibility at all times and dress for the weather as this workshop can get messy so it will be run outside.
