If you are new to the Rockingham area or an old hand at knowing your way around, we would like to welcome you to Marilla Community Centre by inviting you to our school holiday Welcome Morning Tea! MyTime groups provide support for mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone caring for a child with a disability/chronic medical condition or developmental delay.  It’s a place for you to unwind and talk about your experiences. It’s a world away from appointments and therapy. It’s support for you. Because you're worth it! Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times).  We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied. There will be a craft. free play, toys to encourage both fine and gross motor skills, story time and a shared morning tea.   Free tea and coffee for parents.  Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather. Gold coin donation required. This group is for Marilla members. You can attend the first session without joining Marilla, you can join online at www.marillacommunitycentre.com  Membership for 12 months is only $20 (Non-Defence) or only $10 for Defence families. By joining Marilla you will be kept up to date with all programmes and events, you will be able to attend all of our programmes and events and you will be enable us to continue to run our programmes. TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL: Every week during school term time, we will be meeting at different venues each week (weather permitting) for some fun activities, games/sports and FREE Afternoon Tea for school aged children and their younger siblings. Thanks to DCO funding we would like to invite our Marilla Members to join us for a hands-on art workshop to make your very own Macrame Masterpiece!  We will be meeting at Mug n Brush for a fun filled evening, bringing out your inner artist! Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start.  All materials will be provided on the night as well as light refreshments and a welcome glass of Prosecco! (The bar will be open at Mug n Brush for you to purchase drinks so NO BYO) This event is FREE for Marilla Members, but we are asking for a $10 REFUNDABLE deposit to hold your place.
