Thanks to DCO funding we are able to offer this fantastic FREE FITNESS CLASS to all Marilla Members and Defence Families. Every Thursday morning during school term time we will have an experienced PT running a 30min HIIT class suitable for all fitness levels, come on down and achieve the fitness goals you have always strived for!  The classes are held outside but undercover so please dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and sweat towel. Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times).  We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied. There will be a craft and every term we focus on a different theme to encourage them to learn through play.   Free tea and coffee for parents.  Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather. Gold coin donation required. This group is for Marilla members. You can attend the first session without joining Marilla, you can join online at www.marillacommunitycentre.com or fill out a form on the day.  Membership for 12 months is only $20 (Non-Defence) or only $10 for Defence families. Thanks to DCO funding we would like to invite our Marilla Members and ADF partners to join us for a hands-on art workshop to make your very own Paint Pouring Masterpiece! We will be meeting at Mug n Brush for a fun filled evening, bringing out your inner artist! All materials will be provided on the night but feel free to BYO wine and nibbles. This event is FREE for Marilla Members and ADF families but we are asking for a $20 REFUNDABLE (although if you are able to donate the $20 it would be much appreciated!) deposit to hold you place. MyTime groups provide support for mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone caring for a child with a disability/chronic medical condition or developmental delay.  It’s a place for you to unwind and talk about your experiences. It’s a world away from appointments and therapy. It’s support for you. Because you're worth it! My Time are looking for new members, it is a FREE session to attend, just book a place, leave us your email address and Claire will be there to help you.   Please share this information with anyone you believe will benefit from these sessions.  These sessions are for you to stay connected. Marilla's Free Friday Socials are back! Need some FREE entertainment for the kids? Want to get out of the house, meet up with friendly families at a child friendly venue? Marilla Community Centre at Rockingham Navy Club is for you!   Allow us to entertain the children, while you catch up with old friends and make new ones.  There will be a different 'fun entertainment activity' every month, so don't miss out and take advantage of this FREE event. This Friday night Social is our Halloween celebration! With prizes for the best costume and not just for the kids, that’s right adults we want you to get involved too! Halloween themed activities and treats! Come along and let the games begin! Food available for adults and children, booking is essential. Call Rockingham Navy Club on 08 9592 7997 ( if no answer just leave a message with your name, date of booking and how many children/adults that require a meal) You can then choose on the night what you want to eat and you will have a table reserved for your meal. The Navy club is a licensed venue.  Strictly no BYO food or drinks. Ensure you book your food so you have a table reserved inside. Children who remain with their parents after the event closes (7pm) must be supervised by an adult and follow the Navy Clubs rules. There will be Ode at 7.00pm where everyone is required to be silent (including children) to pay respect to the fallen. Activities will be outside so make sure your child is dressed for the weather.
