The change starts with you! For Australia Clean Up Day we are running a cleanup event that will cover the Point Peron area starting from the back of the navy club. Please attend wearing suitable shoes and a hat.  We will be starting from the Navy Club in Rockingham and walking towards Point Peron cleaning up on the way. We will start at 11am and finish at 1pm. Water will be available. Please dress for the weather. 

MyTime groups provide support for mothers, fathers, grandparents and anyone caring for a child with a disability or chronic medical condition. It’s a place for you to unwind and talk about your experiences. It’s a world away from appointments and therapy. It’s support for you. Because you're worth it! Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times).  We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied. There will be a craft and every term we focus on a different theme to encourage them to learn through play. THIS TERM'S THEME IS COLOURS Free tea and coffee for parents.  Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather. Gold coin donation required. This group is for Marilla members. All welcome membership not essential.  This new group meets every 2nd Thursday of the month (term time only) Its a group where families get to integrate with the older generation bridging the gap between the ages! If you have a few hours to spare once a month and think you could help new families in the area please attend.  Moving to a new area can be daunting and moving away from family is even worse. We have set up this group for those children and parents who miss a Mum/Dad or a Granfather/Grandmother role in their lives connect together.  We will provide a special High Tea and set up activities for the children to enjoy.  THIS IS A FREE EVENT So if you want to connect with the community and make new friends or just want your children to have a connection with the older generation of your community come on down and meet people who want to connect Book your free ticket now!
