Every Monday morning during school term time we will have an experienced PT running a mix of Metafit, Bootcamp but always fun fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels, come on down and achieve the fitness goals you have always strived for!  The classes are held outside but undercover so please dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and sweat towel. We will have the awesome Lottie Hazel here to help us connect mind and body. These classes are open to all levels/abilities and are child friendly. Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times).  We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied while you meet with other parents/carers in the area. There will be a craft. free play, toys to encourage both fine and gross motor skills, story time and a shared morning tea.   Free tea and coffee for parents.  Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather. Gold coin donation required. This group is for Marilla members. You can attend the first session without joining Marilla, you can join online at www.marillacommunitycentre.com  Membership for 12 months is only $20 (Non-Defence) or only $10 for Defence families. Thanks to DMFS funding we would like to invite our Marilla Members and to take part in our annual Accredited First Aid Course. This Course can be used in the work place, community sport or just general everyday life. The face-to-face portion of this course takes 3 hours (9am-12pm Sunday 8th of June) you will be required to complete the online component (the link will be emailed to you beforehand by All Ages First Aid Training) before the face-to-face session. The online portion MUST be completed before Sunday 8th of June otherwise you will be unable to to take part in the face to face session.   ​HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support HLTAID003 Provide First Aid   This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers/community members who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. This event is FREE for Marilla Members and but we are asking for a $20 REFUNDABLE deposit to hold you place (if you would like to donate your deposite it would be greatly appreciated just let our Coordinator know on the day). Marilla's Free Friday Socials are back! Need some FREE entertainment for the kids? Want to get out of the house, meet up with friendly families at a child friendly venue? Marilla Community Centre at Rockingham Navy Club is for you!   Allow us to entertain the children, while you catch up with old friends and make new ones.  There will be a different 'fun entertainment activity' every month, so don't miss out and take advantage of this FREE event.  Come along and let the games begin! Food available for adults and children, Ticket booking is essential. (Call Rockingham Navy Club on 08 9592 7997 If you would like to reserve a table inside if there is no answer leave a message with date and how many for)  The Navy club is a licensed venue.  Strictly no BYO food or drinks. Children who remain with their parents after the event closes (6pm) must be supervised by an adult and follow the Navy Clubs rules. There will be Ode at 7.00pm where everyone is required to be silent (including children) to pay respect to the fallen. Activities will be outside so make sure your child is dressed for the weather.
