Thanks to DMFS funding we would like to invite our Marilla Members to join us for a hands-on art workshop to paint a ceramic masterpiece!  We will be meeting at Mug n Brush for a fun filled evening, bringing out your inner artist! Doors open at 6.30 for a 7pm start.  All materials will be provided on the night as well as light refreshments (The bar will be open at Mug n Brush for you to purchase drinks so NO BYO) This event is FREE for Marilla Members, but we are asking for a $10 REFUNDABLE deposit to hold your place. Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times).  We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied while you meet with other parents/carers in the area. There will be a craft. free play, toys to encourage both fine and gross motor skills, story time and a shared morning tea.   Free tea and coffee for parents.  Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather. Gold coin donation required. This group is for Marilla members. You can attend the first session without joining Marilla, you can join online at www.marillacommunitycentre.com  Membership for 12 months is only $20 (Non-Defence) or only $10 for Defence families. Marilla's Free Friday Socials are back! Need some FREE entertainment for the kids? Want to get out of the house, meet up with friendly families at a child friendly venue? Marilla Community Centre at Rockingham Navy Club is for you!   Allow us to entertain the children, while you catch up with old friends and make new ones.  There will be a different 'fun entertainment activity' every month, so don't miss out and take advantage of this FREE event. Come along and let the games begin! Food available for adults and children, Ticket booking is essential. (Call Rockingham Navy Club on 08 9592 7997 If you would like to reserve a table inside if there is no answer leave a message with date and how many for)  The Navy club is a licensed venue.  Strictly no BYO food or drinks. Children who remain with their parents after the event closes (6pm) must be supervised by an adult and follow the Navy Clubs rules. There will be Ode at 7.00pm where everyone is required to be silent (including children) to pay respect to the fallen. Activities will be outside so make sure your child is dressed for the weather.
