Marilla's Playgroup is on every Wednesday morning at 9:30am-11:30am (During school term times).  We run this group outside in a large garden area with plenty of shaded areas. We have a playhouse and a sand pit and lots of toys to keep your little people happy and occupied while you meet with other parents/carers in the area. There will be a craft. free play, toys to encourage both fine and gross motor skills, story time and a shared morning tea.   Free tea and coffee for parents. Please bring a piece of fruit to share and dress for the weather. TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL: Every week during school term time, we will be meeting at different venues each week (weather permitting) for some fun activities, games/sports and FREE Afternoon Tea for school aged children and their younger siblings. Looking to make connections? New to Rockingham? Then this coffee catch up is for you! We will be hosting a morning tea with the aim of connecting our wonderful families here in Rockingham. Children are welcome but not essential as our morning tea is open to all. We are excited to have the awesome Ally Bannister coming along to share her extensive knowledge of all thing’s career/job related and self employment. If you are interested in re-entering the job market or maybe just looking for advice on how to access PEAP or any other funding that maybe available to you why not come down and have a chat! Marilla's Free Friday Socials are back! Need some FREE entertainment for the kids? Want to get out of the house, meet up with friendly families at a child friendly venue? Marilla Community Centre at Rockingham Navy Club is for you!   Allow us to entertain the children, while you catch up with old friends and make new ones.  There will be a different 'fun entertainment activity' every month, so don't miss out and take advantage of this FREE event. This Friday night Social is our Halloween celebration! With prizes for the best costume and not just for the kids, that’s right adults we want you to get involved too! Halloween themed activities and treats!  Come along and let the games begin! Food available for adults and children, Ticket booking is essential. (Call Rockingham Navy Club on 08 9592 7997 If you would like to reserve a table inside if there is no answer leave a message with date and how many for)  The Navy club is a licensed venue.  Strictly no BYO food or drinks. Children who remain with their parents after the event closes (6pm) must be supervised by an adult and follow the Navy Clubs rules. There will be Ode at 7.00pm where everyone is required to be silent (including children) to pay respect to the fallen. Activities will be outside so make sure your child is dressed for the weather.
